Student Visa (subclass 500)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Before you apply for this visa, you must have been accepted to study full-time at a legitimate educational institution in Australia.
2. You must be at least six years of age. If you’re below 18 years of age, you should have organised appropriate welfare arrangements for the duration of your intended stay in Australia.
3. You must have a valid health insurance for the period you’re going to be in Australia.

The minimum scores for the following English Language Tests would generally be as follows:
● IELTS: 5.5 Average
● TOEFL (Paper): 527
● TOEFL iBT: 46
● CAE (Cambridge): 162
● PTE (Pearson): 42
● OET (Occupational English Test): B Pass
Length of stay
Financial Requirement
● Evidence of funds to cover your studies for the first 12 months of your stay in Australia
● Evidence of taxable income of your parents or spouse in the last 12 months
Student Dependent Visa (Subclass 500)
● Your partner
● You and your partner’s dependent children – Your dependent child can be your own child or stepchild. Your child should not be:
1. Married or engaged to be married or in a de facto relationship
2. 18 years of age or above
● A de facto partner – However, a de facto relationship applies if you have been living with a person for at least 12 months, and you have a genuine and special relationship with them.
Eligibility Criteria
● Your Spouse/sponsor should be holding a valid Australia student visa subclass 500.
● It permits a student to study in a registered, full-time course.
● The Eligibility norms are that the applicant must be six years old and must have been accepted for pursuing studies at an educational institution in Australia.
● Moreover, having health insurance is also mandatory.
● Length of stay is five years.
● It permits to study in the course and Work part-time.
